Little did we know what we were getting into with comp volleyball. Our Saturday's are spent courtside (um- is it called a court?) and our butts are sore from a day of sitting on them. But we love watching Cam do something she loves.
For now. :)
Check back in June!

White Stuff
Thanks to all the leaders of our country past, we enjoyed a day skiing with the girls on President's Day. Sad to say it was our first ski day of the season, but with so little snow in Tahoe, we haven't been too excited to hit the slopes. When dad takes a day off, skiing seems like a perfect outing.
See the attempt to get my 3 girls to line up next to each other while on skis!
It was Sutton's first time on skis, so we signed her up for ski school. It was a colossal waste of money! And poor Sutton was traumatized. Bad idea!!! But she looked super cute, so thats got to count for something!
Poor baby- this is what she looked like when I came to get her after I got the call to pick her up early.

Lady and the Tramp
Sutton and her buddy Andrew got creative eating their ramen noodles.
These two are best buddies and have lots of fun together. The especially love taking Cocoa Carrot for a walk on her leash. Yep- you read that correctly.

Mine!!!
Camden wants to be a volleyball star. Ok- not really. She mainly just wants to make all of her serves over.
She is playing on a club team, Sierra Gold, which means twice a week practices and tournaments that last all day on Saturday. She is loving it!

I want to be a dentist
Taitum's fourth tooth was to the ugly, nasty stage just hanging from her gums. She has been so eager in the past to let me pull her teeth early that I might have scarred her with some pain. She was not eager this time and had to be threatened (she couldn't be bought) into it.
Best part, when Sutton saw the floss tied around her tooth she came up and said "When I grow up I want to be a dentist. I should pull her tooth." I completely agreed. Taitum did not!
Taitum was a semi- good sport, but she really didn't want anyone pulling on her tooth. We had two people video-ing the whole thing. But when Sutton got her patient a sip of water, and when that patient started choking on said water, videos stopped, and I saw my chance.
In between all the choking and confusion, I grabbed those string and pulled. Pop! The tooth was out! Hurrah!

Vitalicious!
Say it ain't so.... January meant time for our 5th daughter and my sanity to go back to school. We never like to say goodbye, but are thankful for Skype and FaceTime.
Where's the Snow
As hard as I tried to stay home for most of the Christmas break, I couldn't resist an offer from my friend to use her cabin for a couple of nights in Tahoe.
Usually a stay in Tahoe in January would include all kinds of winter sports, but not this year. The lack of snow and freezing temperatures had us splashing in the pool and slipping down the waterslide.
It felt like June- not January.
Some of us had more fun at the cabin than others. Poor Ian!
Ok- so we did eventually enjoy some winter sporting activity. But it still felt like June!
Oh- and there was some playing in the snow too....
